The Jabal Omar Development is a mix commercial and residential projects located next to Al haram Holy Mosque in Makkah. The project will be spread over an area of 230,000 m2 with around 2 million m2 of construction covering 38 residential towers, hotels, and a huge mosque.
The project includes a retail concourse, a conference hall, public parks, a 3,000-car parking lot and other related facilities. as well as 11,545 hotel and residential rooms, and 208 villas. The location of the project gives it a strategic advantage, due to the significance of Al haram mosque.
Jabal Omar Development Company, Makkah (JODC) was the second Project of Saudi Tabreed under Build Own Operate and Transfer with 55,000 TR full built capacity divided in 5 phases. Saudi Tabreed Operation and Maintenance (STOM) started the District Cooling Plant operation on September 2014.
STOM has been working in close collaboration with government entities to streamline the cooling demand requirements facilitated by the development of mega-projects.
