King Khalid University Hospital

King Khalid University Hospital (KKUH) is a research and educational hospital that started operating in 1982 at King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC). The hospital was initially restricted to an outpatient clinic complex, then developed overtime to operate with a capacity of approximately 800 beds in addition to the presence of 20 operating rooms, and a separate building for clinics with 161 rooms.

Presenting a world-class health care complex that includes more than,1300 full-time physicians,854 residents and approximately 2,072 allied health personnel.

Equipped with the most recent technologies and state of the art surgical services, staffed laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy services. In addition to a dedicated home healthcare program and other support services.

King Khalid University Hospital has been expanded to consist of a building with five floors excluding the ground lobby and basement parking, and it is planned to provide facilities services with a capacity of 480 beds, and 32 operating rooms, in addition to planning for oncology, gastroenterology and medicine. The central cooling system for the hospital is operated by Saudi Tabreed Operation and Maintenance with a capacity of 19,868 refrigerated tons.
